YOUR MISSION AND CHALLENGES
One of the key pillars of an ongoing transformation of the European Business Unit is the creation of a centralized Back Office organization, designed to deliver fast, reliable, and standardized operational execution across Europe.
As Head of Back Office Europe, your mission is to build and lead this organization, ensuring high-quality execution of core processes such as order handling, customer administration, spare parts processing, and invoicing. You will play a critical role in reducing administrative workload for Sales and Service teams, improving internal efficiency, and enabling a scalable and customer-centric organization.
In this role, your main responsibilities will include:
- Enhance Customer Experience: Enable better customer outcomes through efficient and reliable internal operations
- Build & Lead the Organization: Establish and lead a centralized European back-office team across multiple countries and sites
- Develop People & Capabilities: Build a high-performing team with strong ownership, skills, and accountability
- Optimize Order-to-Cash: Ensure fast, reliable, and accurate execution from quotation to cash collection, balancing efficiency with customer satisfaction
- Simplify & Streamline Processes: Eliminate inefficiencies, duplication, and manual work to reduce complexity
YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS
- You are a hands-on operational leader with a strong execution mindset. You thrive in transformation environments and have the ability to simplify complexity, structure organizations, and deliver results under pressure
- You have proven experience in back office, operations, supply chain, or operational management
- You are fluent in English, French and German (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
- Proven experience leading and developing teams in a multi-site or international environment
- Pragmatic, results-oriented, and able to translate strategy into execution
- Solid experience with ERP and CRM systems
