Our History
LNS: Pioneering Precision Since 1973
Founded in the Jura Arc to harness local expertise, LNS was born in 1973 when three friends—Mr. Léchot (L), Mr. Neukomm (N), and Mr. Scemama (S)—set out to revolutionize mechanical bar loaders for the watch industry. The 1974 watch-making crisis was a turning point. With the help of skilled technician Mr. Philippe Scheurer, we invented the Hydrobar®, the first hydraulic bar feeder, in 1975. This game-changer boosted our business and made Hydrobar® a common name in the machine tool industry.
Over the years, we focused on developing innovative products. Through continuous innovation and strategic acquisitions, we have become a global leader, delivering smarter, cutting-edge solutions for our clients.
