Machine Compatibility
The LNS Turbo SF Compact incorporates self cleaning filter modules located in the conveyor frame, which is protected from heavy chips by the conveyor belt. The filter modules are designed with a very fine filter material, which traps particles greater than 50 microns. This allows fine chips to be kept out of the tank. The filter modules are automatically cleaned, thanks to the mechatronic cleaning system. Clean, filtered coolant is returned back to the tank, assuring maximum tool life and extended coolant life, all whilst minimising tank maintenance.
Floor Space Utilization
The Turbo SF Compact chip conveyor’s filter system is integrated into the frame to minimize the need for extra floor space. This chip conveyor model is no larger than most standard hinge belt conveyors. In this case, the compact design is ideal for factories with limited floor space. As well as obstructions such as pillars, walls or with multiple machines side-to-side and/or back-to-back.
Durability
Combined with other key features, the Turbo SF Compact chip conveyor frame is designed to withstand torsional forces it will see in tough CNC machining operations. The robust chip conveyor frame handles small or large chip capacities. Hardened track framing is used in all high wear areas, such as the curves. The chip conveyor frame curves and tails are smoothly transitioned so chips have no areas to accumulate in.
